Uela Basco's crystal, soulful voice can be heard on a lot of album recordings and hundreds of tv and radio commercials. In 2008, Uela was handpicked by music producers Dan Gil and Raimund Marasigan to be a member of Coke's Project 1 band. In 2009, she recorded as part of the 47 United Filipino Artists
for a climate change advocacy song.
2010 saw her as the Philippines' official representative to the ASEAN Golden Melodies Song Festival in Vietnam.
